Journey
Follow our path to see how we got here.
With a new season greeting us, we got new members introduced to rocketry by building their own rockets and painting them.
We hope to fly these rockets next week and have a blast!
Disaster struck when it got stuck in a tree. After hours of effort, we retrieved it and began working on Halo, our final design for the ARC qualification flights, which unfortunately did not perform as needed.
As the qualification date approached, we launched Solar V2 multiple times, hoping for better results. Despite missing the nationals cutoff, we placed top 5 in Pennsylvania and top 10 nationally for our ARC marketing video.
We built the Big Bertha, a larger rocket that presented new challenges but provided valuable experience. This led us to explore new ideas for our final rocket design by creating multiple models.
After initial launch failures, we redesigned our rocket and improved our approach. We documented our journey and achieved successful launches, refining our final design.
Tackling complex models inspired creative solutions. We improved 3D modeling, developed custom software, and designed our own launch equipment, advancing our rocketry expertise.
